We have all kinds of shortages including skills eg truckers, farm workers, vets, care workers, nurses etc. The trucker shortage and the Brexit-induced border problems are preventing supplies from getting here especially fresh foods, blood test tubes, some meds. This isn’t a result of the pandemic. We have headlines in the newspapers going on about how Christmas is ruined etc etc.
