Oh, no! Poor Syau! I had a dog who was carsick for a while after I got him (from a rescue). I tried him everywhere in the car. He ended up right in the back and he was okay there. Mind you, I think he kind-of grew out of it a bit because he was in there so often for short trips and he had a small human to keep him company for a while. Jack wasn’t too great when I first got him, although not exactly sick, but whiny — now he settles after the first little while. He likes the radio on, too, I’ve noticed.
It’s funny — I’ve literally just bought some wrist bands that work on pressure points for sea-sickness for a friend, and I wondered if there was such a thing for dogs — looked it up and got a hit! Wow. There are such things. I would try them if I had a dog now with car-sickness because I know they work for me for sea-sickness.
I can’t leave Jack at home any more — he has to be with me or with someone I trust implicitly — at all times. Because of these horrendous dog thefts. If Jack got stolen and I never knew what happened to him, it would finish me off. eg I have a mammogram tomorrow so a friend is taking me and Jack so that she can drop me off for the scan and then she’ll stay in the car with Jack. Everything I do, the first consideration is where will Jack be, and who with?
