I so agree with the self-employment quandary - my employed friends do think I'm available all the time. This also goes because I'm female and work from home. Surely I 'm available all the time! It's suddenly got a lot worse as many of my friends have now retired ... Mind you, I am now getting tougher about this as I need to earn a living, and I'm perfectly happy with keeping in touch with busy people via email etc.

But it can be a tough one for people who are more extrovert than I am.
