How surreal that experience must have been. I remember it well because at the time it became obvious what was going on, I was on my local street WhatsApp group about something else. I always have the news on though, so, in the middle of what I was saying about something local, I added 'insurrectionists are attacking the US Capitol Building' - no one believed me. I'm not surprised. It is unbelievable. Even more that the bloke encouraging it has been re-elected. Even more that he's pardoned them all. Unbelievable!

Anyway, I'm glad you came out of it unharmed at least physically.
