I like New Years. I often start a whole New Year on a Tuesday or a Friday, or any day when I feel the need. A whole New Week is fab, too. A whole New Month is full of promise. But a Whole New Year …

I love a Whole New Year. A Whole New Beginning.

And I (and PupperJack — natch) wish you all a wonderful New Year — we wish you a happy and healthy and smiley 2023.

I wish there were some wonderful place
Called the Land of Beginning Again,
Where all our mistakes and all our heartaches,
And all our poor, selfish griefs
Could be dropped, like a shabby old coat, at the door,

And I wish that the one whom our blindness had done
The greatest injustice of all
Could be at the gate like the old friend that waits
